Summary

Sneaking: (Penalty – Free Kick)

being in front of any player on the same side who is running-with-the-ball (any touch of the ball by Fly or Bully-player counts as an act of running-with-the-ball).

being in front of ALL the opposition Bully-players AND in front of the ball (unless in possession of the ball).

Cornering: (Penalty – Set-Piece-Bully)

failing to track the lateral position and movement of the ball. N.B. a Behind may make a tackle, control and kick the ball while in a Cornering position.

On-the-line:

the defending side must engage at the earliest opportunity and continue to do so while the ball is on-the-line;

the attacker must keep the ball moving; if the ball is stopped due to the actions of a defender, the attacker has a few moments to start the ball moving again;

attackers are Sneaking if they are nearer the goal and the opposition’s goal line

defenders are Sneaking if they nearer the touchline and opposition’s goal line.

Passing Back: (Penalty: Set-Piece-Bully)

when the ball travels backwards to a player on the same side following a team-mate’s deliberate attempt to propel the ball forwards. (A deliberate back pass would result in a Free-Kick.) The re-start is from the point where the ball was initially played backwards.

Rouge:

A Rouge is scored when a Rougeable ball is touched by an attacker’s hand before a defender’s hand. A ball becomes ROUGEABLE, if it crosses the (infinite) goal-line in one of the following ways:

1.

directly off a defender;

2.

re-bounding off an attacker after having been played by a defender;

3.

while within a Tightly-Formed-Bully (BULLY-ROUGE);

4.

when kicked directly from out of a Tightly-Formed-Bully (CONTACT-ROUGE).

Scoring:

Goal, Penalty-Goal or Goal scored during a Conversion attempt: 3 points

Rougeable ball (touched first by the hand of a defender): 3 points OR attacking Free-Kick on 3 yard line

Rouge: 5 points, followed by a Conversion attempt

Conversion/Penalty-Conversion: 2 points (3 points if a Goal is scored in a Conversion attempt)

Penalty-point: 1 point for an offence by a defender when the ball is “on-the-line”.
